CARE GUIDE

Light:
Bright light and high humidity will be beneficial to a Syngonium plant. It will become thin, weak and leggy in low light so a spot next to a window with bright, indirect light is ideal. Some morning sun is okay but keep out of hot, afternoon sun.

Water:
Allow the Syngonium plant to dry out between waterings. Although the plant enjoys some moisture, it should not be kept too wet, as this can lead to root rot. Proper Syngonium plant care requires humid conditions, especially during dry winter months. Mist the plant daily or place its container on a tray filled with pebbles and water to increase humidity.

Temperature:
It prefers temperatures between 60°-75° F, but can tolerate a wider range, if necessary.

 Common Problems Q&A
Why are my leaves turning yellow?
The most likely cause of yellowing leaves is over watering. Only water your Syngonium plant when the top 50% of soil is dry, and try maintaining a consistent watering schedule. Water your plant until water flows from the drainage hole, and make sure to discard any excess water in your saucer so your plant does not sit in water.

Why are my leaves limp and droopy?
You are likely under watering your plant. Your Syngonium plant likes their soil to be consistently moist. Maintaining a consistent watering schedule is crucial to maintaining a happy plant. Water you plant when the top 50% of soil is dry. Once watered your plant should perk up!
